Ms GOU Rui is a PhD student in the Department of Science and Environment Studies of The Education University of Hong Kong. She received her MSc in sustainable tourism from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on the visitors' attitudes and behaviors in protected areas in the greater China region.

Ms HE Qianwen received her BEd of applied psychology at Guangdong University of Education and MEd of educational and developmental psychology in The Education University of Hong Kong. She is now a PhD student under the supervision of Prof SO Wing Mui in the Department of Science and Environmental Studies. Her research interests include STEM education and teacher professional development.

Mr Hossain is a PhD student in the Department of Science and Environment Studies (SES) under the supervision of Dr. TSANG Yiu Fai, Dr MAN Yu Bon Brian and Prof WONG Ming Hung. His current research interest focused on the occurrence, characterization and removal of microplastics in wastewater.

Mr Muhammad Tariq Khan has been associated as a PhD student with the Department of Science and Environmental Studies at The Education University of Hong Kong since 2018. He successfully defended his PhD thesis in August 2023. Prior to his enrollment at EdUHK, he graduated from the School of Environment at Beijing Normal University, China. His research interests include microplastic pollution, Healthcare waste management, and associated human health impacts.

Ms LAM Wing Ling Theresa graduated from The Education University of Hong Kong with a BSocSc degree in Global and Environmental Studies. She is now pursuing her MPhil with the interests in the area of microplastic pollution, for example, the detection of microplastics in environmental samples.

Her research interest is the detection of endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) in environmental and human samples.

Mr PO Ho Fai Jacky is graduated from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology for his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics. Then he is graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong for his master's degree in Mathematics. Currently, he is a second-year Ph.D. student in The Education University of Hong Kong under the supervision of Dr. Yeung Chi Ho. His research interests include combinatorial optimization, game theory, statistical physics, and complex systems.

Mr QIN Xing obtained his B.S. in the Education University of Hong Kong and Master in the University of Hong Kong. He is now pursuing his PhD degree under the supervision of Dr. HO Wing Kei, Dr. DENG Wenjing, and Prof. YEUNG Yau Yuen. His research interests include indoor air quality control, photocatalysis for air pollution degradation, and environmental management.

Md Rokonuzzaman is a PhD student in the Department of Science and Environmental Studies of The Education University of Hong Kong. He is pursuing his PhD degree under the supervision of Dr. LI Wai Chin. Before his enrollment at EdUHK, he was graduated from Sylhet Agricultural University, Sylhet-3100, Bangladesh. His research interest includes a heavy metal(loid)s in the food chain, agronomy, and perception.

MD Saif Uddin is a PhD student at The Education University of Hong Kong under the Department of Science and Environmental Studies. He is conducting his PhD research under the supervision of Dr MAN Yu Bon Brian (Principal Supervisor), Prof WONG Ming Hung (Associate Supervisor) and Dr TSANG Yiu Fai (Associate Supervisor). Saif holds a ‘Master of Science’ (MS) in Aquaculture from the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Bangladesh and a ‘Bachelor of Science’ (B.Sc (Honours)) in Fisheries from the Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh. His research interests include Fish Feed Management and Environmental Pollution Management for sustainable food production.

Mr WONG Chun Fung Briston formerly worked as an environmental consultant for waste management and water treatment. He has obtained a MSc degree in Environmental Management and is now pursuing a doctorate with his research in Persistent Organic Pollutants and heavy metals removal in aquaculture. His research interests include aquaculture technology, toxins and heavy metals removal, wastewater treatment, and sustainability.

Her current research interest is focused on water/wastewater treatment. Including the occurrence and fate of pharmaceuticals and personal care products in sewage treatment plants, biological treatment, and biochar treatment technology.
