ANTI-SCAM via STEM - LESSON DESIGN COMPETITION

You are invited to join the “ANTI-SCAM via STEM - LESSON DESIGN COMPETITION”, organised by the Department of Science and Environmental Studies (SES) and the Student Affairs Office (SAO). This Competition aims to encourage participants to creatively incorporate STEM concepts into lesson plans that effectively convey anti-scam messages to primary and secondary school students, thereby demonstrating the significance of STEM education in addressing real-world challenges.

 

All UGC-funded EdUHK Undergraduate/PGDE students

The Information Session will provide you with details on the current anti-scam measures and deception cases as well as the guidelines of Competition.

Call for Applications

Applicants have to form a group of THREE, submit a 40-minute    lesson design in English/Chinese, a PowerPoint presentation (not more than 50 slides) to be used for teaching and supplementary materials (if any), e.g. worksheets, videos, Scratch simulation/games, etc.

(Shortlisted Groups Only)

ALL members of shortlisted groups MUST attend the presentation in ENGLISH or CHINESE (subject to the language of the lesson plan) within 15 minutes.

Awardees will be notified via email.

 

 

Participation in the Singapore Exchange Tour in Jun 2025

• Date: 2-7 Jun 2025 (Tentative) • Quota:5-6Winning groups • Coverages: Round-trip flights between Hong Kong and Singapore, local transportation, meals, accommodation, and official programme activities

*Runner-up prizes will be awarded to FIVE non-winning groups
